Church Leadership

Pastor/Teacher
Mike Stark

Pastor Mike is married to his lovely bride of sixteen years, Sharla. Together they have four children ranging from teenage down to one years of age. They were missionaries in Africa for some years prior to moving back to the US in 2004. At which time they took a bit of a sabbatical from full time ministry and assisted in the discipleship ministries of two congregations in the State of Kentucky. Pastor Mike and his family have been with Curtis Baptist from March of 2008.

Pastor Mike has a great fondness for NASCAR, local dirt track racing, and really anything with a motor that will go in circles fast. He loves to spend time fishing with his family as the opportunities arise. He loves reading the Puritans and has a great passion for one on one discipleship.

His preaching style would be described as expositional. And he enjoys taking God’s people verse by verse through the Scriptures.
